What's the difference? The only difference between the two are how they look. The bail gives pendants more of a classic look/style.
Both styles (ring & bail) are a part of the Storybook Collection and designed to slide on/off any of Amoorella's Storybook Chains (There's no guarantee that the ring/bail/pendant will slide onto any chains purchased elsewhere).
